The assault resulted in the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
