Ex- British Broadcasting Corporation Specialists Participate in Parliamentary Inquiry In the Wake of Allegations of Bias in Disclosed Memo

Previous BBC advisers appearing at parliamentary committee

We begin with inquiries from Tory Member of Parliament Caroline Dinenage, who oversees the group.

She commences by giving details to the leaked document written by Michael Prescott and printed in a daily publication.

"It is not my wish for the British Broadcasting Corporation tilting toward one side or the other, I simply desire it balanced, impartial and equitable," he declares.

In response to a query whether he believes the British Broadcasting Corporation is systematically partial, Prescott responds: "No I don't. It is important to note, tons of stuff the British Broadcasting Corporation creates is top-tier - both factual and fictional programming."

Nevertheless, he states: "There remains substantial tasks that must be undertaken at the BBC."

Another former external British Broadcasting Corporation specialist interviewed by the group, Caroline Daniel, states she takes the BBC with great importance and that it operates a "persistent practice and vigorous discourse" regarding fluid and multifaceted topics.

"Did the BBC willing to have a thorough dialogue and exchange and act accordingly?" she reflects. "As I see it, yes they were."
