This represents the final piece I am writing ahead of two possible developments: our boat arrives in Gaza, or our craft is taken by Israel. We expect to reach on the ninth of October, following our journey the ocean starting last month.

Last week witnessed the abduction by Israel the sailors from the initial Global Sumud flotilla just before their scheduled arrival. This is likely the same moment that Israel might try to intercept our vessels from the Thousand Madleens and Freedom Flotilla Coalition.

Sailing Amid Risky Situations

Our follow-up mission has continued sailing regardless of various stories about what happened of the earlier activists. While positioned near Cyprus, preparing for night watch under the shadow of a loud unidentified drone, we received news that Israel had illegally commandeered the central humanitarian ships in global maritime zones.

Subsequent sunrise presented concerning updates while I completed daily chores: scrubbing eating utensils in the compact galley, checking my phone periodically as Israel systematically seized the rest of the humanitarian convoy.

These events have merely reinforced our united commitment to continue our mission.

Living Conditions Aboard

During this voyage phase, I've developed a pattern. My resting pattern includes resting between evening and early morning, followed by overnight duty until 5am, obtaining further sleep subsequently totaling five hours. More sleep proves impossible during choppy waters and frequent disturbances in close-quarter existence.

My bed comprises a thin padding located atop the common furniture in the collective area. Daily I get clothed enclosed in my bedding during morning beverage preparation in close proximity. Various elements of shared living with six other individuals within limited nautical space require significant adaptation.

• Remaining positioned becomes challenging in specific spots indefinitely without blocking fellow crew.
• Despite these challenges, we enjoy positive relationships.
• Our common objective helps along with our sailors' proficiency.
• Their competent awareness generates spreading tranquility.

The Operation's Goal

The medical supplies and baby nourishment items packed in the rear compartment and steering zone of our craft could save numerous lives should we achieve our goal. During a recent interview, a questioner implied they perceived our operation as metaphorical since interception seemed inevitable.

Considered remotely, this reading may look credible. But, subsequent to traveling for over a week with relief supplies everywhere around you, knowing its precise location, maintaining hope becomes essential to access requiring populations.

Expanding Beyond Assistance

Yet, providing supplies is not the flotilla's ultimate purpose. Representatives regularly ask about not allowing their handling of our resources. Aside from justified suspicion about whether distribution would occur given prolonged restrictions, consenting to those conditions would tacitly accept authority concerning maritime zones.

Disturbing Developments

Additional accounts surfaced concerning the initial activists: their transfer to Ktzi'ot prison, their classification as illegal immigrants despite forcible removal outside national jurisdiction. Reports indicated denial of basic necessities including water, medicine and food, accompanied by degrading treatment and occasional violence from prison authorities.

Current numbers showed over three hundred participants were expelled while hundreds stayed imprisoned.

Wider Perspective

These circumstances look appalling but they diminish beside to the systematic abuses faced by Palestinian prisoners in identical institutions. Documented cases include lethal violence resulting in deaths lacking following responsibility regarding implicated staff.

Advocacy institutions have comprehensively chronicled widespread torture practices and gender-based violations within detention centers. Despite worldwide outrage concerning humanitarian workers' situation continues appropriate and crucial, comparable focus has been absent concerning Palestinian ordeal during years of struggle.

Dawn Contemplations

Each morning I observe the endless marine expanse and the fading lunar presence prior to following sunrise. This oceanic autonomy to navigate vast waters emphasizes the vital realization that our mission transcends charity.

Liberation for Palestinians stays unachieved and our individual rights shall stay diminished before that liberation is achieved. This fundamental truth clarifies our persistent navigation. The logic remains simple.
